NOTICE OF HEARING

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) in accordance with and pursuant to the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act, Section 42-35-3 of the General Laws of Rhode Island, and Rhode Island General Laws (“RIGL”), §§ 1-4-1, et. seq. and 1-2-3.1 gave notice, signed and dated August 17, 2010, that it was proposing aeronautics regulations concerning civil aircraft operations and activities on airports and airport facilities, including aircraft registration, airport employees, landing fields, skydiving and ultra-lights (“Aeronautics Regulations”). RIAC has determined that small businesses will not be adversely impacted by the proposed regulations.

This Notice is published to advertise a hearing on the proposed Aeronautics Regulations to accept public comment and afford interested parties an opportunity to submit data, views, or arguments orally or in writing. The public hearing will held at 1:30 pm on October 14, 2010 in the Mary Brennan Board Room at the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, 2000 Post Road, Warwick, RI. The room is accessible to the disabled and interpreter services for the hearing impaired will be provided if requested 48 hours prior to the hearing. A request for this service can be made in writing or by calling (401) 222-6800 or dialing 711 (RI Relay).
