In anticipation of the busy travel period over the next several days, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation is advising travelers to allow extra time when navigating from ticketing through the security checkpoint to the gates.

An increase in passengers traveling in and out of T.F. Green Airport and the InterLink will begin on Thursday, February 16 and continue through Monday, February 27.  This coincides with the upcoming winter school break as air carriers report busier than usual passenger levels.

Southwest Airlines new non-stop seasonal service to and from Ft. Myers has taken off and is a popular vacation destination for travelers. The airport is offering discounts for on-airport parking with low rates from $10 per day to $50 per week.  (Parking rates are inclusive of all taxes and fees.)  For more information and discount coupons, visit www.parkpvdairport.com.
