As the Fall travel season approaches, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is pleased to announce its updated schedule for the Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) featuring nonstop routes to popular east coast destinations and major airline hubs providing connections throughout the nation

As the Fall travel season approaches, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) is pleased to announce its updated schedule for the Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) featuring nonstop routes to popular east coast destinations and major airline hubs providing connections throughout the nation:

Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport travelers are reminded to allow ample time to check bags at airline counters and for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security procedures during high volume travel times, such as early morning flights and holidays. Visitors to the airport are reminded that federal law requirement guidelines requiring that face masks must be worn in airports and on the aircraft has been extended to January 18, 2022. PVD Cares Kits including a face mask, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes remain available at the airport information desk and at all airline counters. Travelers are also encouraged to check with their airlines on their day of travel regarding weather-related and other delays or cancellations.

Additional Airport Services and Amenities 

With Rhode Island’s vaccination rate among the highest in the nation, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation is preparing to re-open several popular airport amenities, including the Hope Reflection Room and the Military Lounge, operated by the Rhode Island Military Organization (RIMO), both of which are located on the 2nd floor of the Airport. Traveling families will also appreciate PVD’s new Nursing Rooms, available in the airport’s south concourse, providing amenities and a pleasant, private space in the airport concourse to accommodate nursing mothers. Visitors to PVD can also enjoy free wireless service, provided by Boingo, , offering travelers access to free wireless service throughout the terminal, available after viewing a 30-second advertisement, which continues to be popular.
Airport amenities for travelers also include expanded hours for airport restaurants, with Providence Provisions Kitchen and Bar now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, remaining open from 8:00 am through the last flight. Additional dining options include Wolfgang Puck Express, Dunkin’ and the Escape Lounge located on the lower level of the airport concourse near Gate 19.
Parking, Bus and Train Service for Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport
As the airport welcomes more travelers back, all on-site airport parking lots and garages are now available, offering a range of convenience and pricing.  Long term “Lot E” with shuttle service offering the most affordable daily airport parking at $12 per day or $60 a week with coupon, including all taxes and fees. Lot D, as well as Garages A and B continue to offer short term parking at $6 for the first hour. More details and parking discounts can be found at www.pvdairport.com/parking.
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) also continues to offer local service to the airport. RIPTA buses 1, 20 & 66 stop at the commercial roadway in front of the airport terminal, while RIPTA bus 14 stops at the InterLink facility at 700 Jefferson Boulevard.  Additional information on bus service is available at https://www.pvdairport.com/get-here/buses.
Plymouth & Brockton “Airport Express” recently launched new bus service between Woods Hole and Falmouth to PVD has also resumed their route between Hyannis and PVD with stops at Barnstable, Sagamore, New Bedford and Fall River allowing passengers along the route new options for travel.  More information is available at https://www.p-b.com/tf-green-airport/.
Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) commuter rail service is also available between PVD and Boston’s South Station. Transportation Network Companies Lyft and Uber now also both provide curbside pickup at the airport terminal.
