The PVD Experience
PVD strives to deliver an exceptional travel experience from curb to gate. Below is information on the many amenities, services, and programs available at the airport.
PVD Pups, Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport’s pet therapy program, was introduced in 2015 to offer an enhanced customer service experience to our passengers by providing stress relief and comfort through interaction with trained animals.
When travelers walk through the terminal they will be greeted by these pups with wagging tails and red vests clearly marked “PVD Pups Pet Me.” These dogs are hoping to make your experience here a little more pup-tastic!
Guests entering the lounge will receive unlimited amenities that include hot and cold food and beverages, comfortable and relaxing seating with plenty of power outlets, high-speed Wi-Fi, local and national newspapers and up-to-the-second flight information. With a focus on local, each Escape Lounge’s food offerings are developed by an award-winning local chef, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
The airport provides free wireless service through Boingo Wireless, Inc. Passengers may use free WiFi by connecting to the Boingo Free WiFi Network or the PVD Free WiFi network. The free wireless service is available after viewing a 30-second advertisement and works anywhere in the airport terminal.
Located on the 2nd floor of the airport next to the Hope Reflection Room, the lounge is operated by the Rhode Island Military Organization for the use of all members of the military and their families.
Nursing rooms are now available to provide a pleasant and private space in the airport concourse for nursing mothers. The Nursing Rooms offer comfortable seating, natural light, paper towels, access to electrical outlets, hand sanitizer, mirrors, and garment hangers and room for travelers’ personal belongings. The nursing rooms are located across from Gate 6.
ATMs – Citizens
As you head toward your gate, there are ATM stations on either side of the concourse just past the security checkpoint.
Sunflower Lanyard Program
Providing the best passenger experience is the goal of everyone in the airport community. As part of that commitment, Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport is pleased to be part of a new program called the Sunflower Program.
Passengers can request a Sunflower Program item via an online application or by contacting airport customer service directly.
Hope Reflection Room
Located on the 2nd floor of the airport pre-security, the Reflection Room is a place of serenity and respite for the traveler. Stop in to gather your thoughts, say a prayer, reflect or simply have a quiet moment before or after your flight.
Service Animal Relief Area
For those who travel with service animals, the new Service Animal Relief Area is located across from Ginvea Jewelry in the North Concourse. The area is complete with everything needed for you and your animal to stay clean throughout your time in the airport.
The PVD Volunteer Program is a new customer service-focused program that allows members of our community to serve as ambassadors to passengers and visitors at Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport. Volunteers provide airport information inside the terminal facility as well as directions and locations of various amenities in the airport and around the region.
Little Free Library
A Little Free Library location is available on the lower level of the airport for visitors who would like to borrow a book for their travels or leave a book for another traveler to enjoy. New and used books and magazines are welcome!
Conference Room Rental
Trying to schedule a meeting while on the go? There is no better way to maximize your time than to conduct your meeting right at the airport before or after your flight!
