Green Airport show their support last year,” said Iftikhar Ahmad, President and CEO of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation.  “With the help of our regional supporters, we hope to be recognized as the #1 small airport in the nation to help restore Rhode Island’s Tourism and Hospitality industry as quickly as possible to bring travelers, jobs and income back to the Ocean State.”

“As Rhode Island begins the healing process of both our collective health and our economy, an honor for the state such as this could be a tremendous help in efforts to restore our local tourism economy when the pandemic wanes, said RIAC Chair Jonathan N.
