Just in time for the Passover and Easter holidays and Spring vacation, passengers are in for a new experience when traveling through T.F. Green Airport. To quote their new ad campaign, the airport is Redefiningtravel as “A calm journey from one place to another… Travelers can avoid the Boston chaos and fly T.F. Green Airport with its easy highway access, convenient parking and renovated state-of-the-art facility.
Call it Easy Street- the stretch of road leading to and from the airport.” Park on-airport in one of 8,325 parking spaces. An easy choice with parking garage and lot rates as low as $11 per day. Now through June 30, 2009, there is a promotional rate of just $12 per day in Garage B with Internet coupon at www.parkpvdairport.com.

The large Explosive Detection System machines (EDS) with their cumbersome screening process have been replaced by a new behind-the-scenes, fully integrated inline baggage handling system. Passengers can now check bags more quickly and pass through the security checkpoint with ease.

“These upgrades are another step in maintaining the high levels of customer service and quality that T.F. Green Airport is known for,” said Kevin Dillon, President and CEO. “In the coming months and year, we will move closer to the opening date of the Intermodal Facility, which will connect the train with the airport. All our improvements are done to enhance the curb to gate experience.”
